By accessing this address and any of its pages (hereinafter, the “Website”), you will be considered a user (hereinafter, user or users) and it is presumed that you accept these General Terms and Conditions. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
At UCEIF, we process the information provided by our participants in events, conferences, seminars, and forums to manage access control to facilities, attendee lists, accreditation, parking management for attendees’ vehicles, and for subsequent contact with attendees via email, commercial actions, and newsletter distribution. The sending of newsletters and commercial communications is based on the user’s consent or, where applicable to activities similar to those in which they have already participated, on UCEIF’s legitimate interest under Article 21.2 of the LSSI. Users may unsubscribe at any time and free of charge using the link included in each communication.
Managing user registration and participation in Explorer programs: One of the main purposes of the website is to serve as a meeting place for individuals interested in the portal’s subject matter, so they can find information and services of interest. For this reason, we will process user data to register them in the various programs and projects available on the website, particularly training programs for entrepreneurship; initiatives to connect users with Explorer spaces to work in; mentoring and personalized advice; networking with other community users; and the submission of ideas and projects, whose participants may be eligible to win trips to visit entrepreneurial ecosystems such as Google or Facebook. The legal basis for this processing is the execution of the relationship established by your registration in the program and acceptance of its terms or participation conditions (Article 6.1(b) of the GDPR).
Conducting statistical studies on user service utilization. UCEIF will process user data to conduct statistical studies that allow us to assess the effectiveness and usefulness of the services provided on the website, so that the results obtained can help us improve future services and programs. The legal basis for this processing is UCEIF’s legitimate interest, and, for data obtained via analytics cookies, the user’s consent as detailed in the Cookie Policy.
HOW LONG WILL WE RETAIN YOUR DATA?
